Serial restaurateur, writer and food entrepreneur Stevie Parle opened his first restaurant Dock Kitchen above the Tom Dixon showroom to huge acclaim at Portobello docks 10 years ago after working in London restaurants such as the River Café, Moro, The Spotted Pig and Petersham Nurseries.

He has since opened Rotorino, Craft London, and Palatino, and was a consultant and mentor to Alex Jackson at Sardine. Now his primary focuses are on developing his highly successful, casual fresh pasta brand Pastaio (since 2017) which has locations in Soho and Westfield London, and the critically-acclaimed JOY at Portobello, currently based at his original Dock Kitchen site in West London.

Stevie was a weekly columnist for the Saturday Telegraph Weekend for five years, has published several books on cooking and presented a food documentary series for channel 4. In 2010, Stevie was named Guardian Young Chef of the Year, and in 2021, Stevie was named restaurateur of the year in the British GQ Awards.

Stevie lives in Kent with his wife Nikki, their three boys, Sam, Ralph and Ira, their lurcher, Otto, and their dachshund, Ogion.
